THROWBACK: When NU’EST’s Minhyun judged Park Seo Joon in the Itaewon class as the “coolest”

We go back to March 2020, when NU’EST alumnus Minhyun spoke to Esquire Korea and talked about travel, his favorite K-dramas and more. Speaking about his travel rituals after his recent trip to Milan, the idol said: “As soon as I walk into the hotel room, I put the trunk on the luggage rack, take out all the cosmetics and display them on I also take out all my clothes and hang them up nicely according to their colors, so I can move on.

Asked about his take on quarantine due to COVID-19, he said: “I’m a homebody and I love being alone. Besides my members, I only have a few other friends. So either we meet at home or we go to the gym. I think of it with optimism as an opportunity to watch dramas and movies. I live vicariously through romantic moves on Netflix. The idol also revealed that he had watched “Melo Is My Nature”, “Itaewon Class” and “Crash Landing on You” at the time.

Speaking of the Itaewon class in detail, Minhyun said he really liked the character of Park Sae Roy (played by Park Seo Joon) on the show. He said, “Isn’t he so cool? It’s like one of my hopes and wishes. [I want to play] a character full of perseverance and hope. Each of its lines is a wise saying, so I’ve heard that there are a lot of people who rejoice while watching the drama. He is full of justice. [His character] might not be right for me though.
