Feb 8 (Reuters) – Peloton Interactive Inc (PTON.O) replaced its CEO on Tuesday and added new members to the board, as the exercise bike maker seeks to revitalize slumping sales and rebound investor confidence. Read more

John Foley, the company’s co-founder who led Peloton for nearly a decade, will step down as CEO and become executive chairman.

BARRY MCCARTHY, CEO

* The Silicon Valley veteran previously held CFO positions at Spotify Inc (SPOT.N) and Netflix Inc, where he helped take the two companies public.

* Between his stints at Netflix and Spotify, McCarthy briefly served as chief operating officer for Clinkle, a mobile payments company.

* His first CFO position was at Music Choice, from 1993 to 1999.

* McCarthy, who holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, has also served as a director of textbook rental company Chegg, ticketing website Eventbrite and internet radio service Pandora.

* He is currently a board member of Instacart, the grocery delivery startup.

JONATHAN MILDENHALL, ADVISORY DIRECTOR

* The marketing and advertising veteran was the former chief marketing officer of home rental company Airbnb Inc (ABNB.O).

* Prior to Airbnb, he led marketing initiatives at Coca-Cola Co (COKE.O).

* Mildenhall co-founded TwentyFirstCenturyBrand, a marketing company and serves as its executive chairman.

* He went to Harvard Business School for an advanced management program in 2005.

* Mildenhall sits on the board of crowdfunding platform GoFundMe and executive search platform AboveBoard.

ANGEL MENDEZ, CONSULTANCY DIRECTOR

* The supply chain management veteran and former senior vice president of Cisco Systems Inc (CSCO.O) studied electrical engineering at Lafayette College.

* He started at General Motors Co (GM.N) in various operational roles and had a brief stint in global purchasing at Citigroup Inc (CN).

* Mendez is executive chairman of LevaData Inc, a private artificial intelligence company focused on supply chain management, and sits on the board of directors of Kinaxis, a supply chain company, and Sleep Number, a sleep technology company.
